Question of the Week

Brace yourselves, this is one sad story.

Two women were charged with prostitution in Camden County on Thursday after they were arrested in a sting operation at a Lake Ozark hotel last week.

Two other women were also arrested, and three of the women are pregnant. Alexandra Wells and Allysia Waldrop were both charged on Thursday. Waldrop is pregnant, but is not known if Wells is also.

The undercover bust went down at a Lake Ozark area hotel after the sheriff's department received several reports that pregnant women were advertising prostitution on an internet advertising site.

One of the women arrested was eight months pregnant, another six months pregnant, and another was three months pregnant. They ranged in age from 18 to 22 years old.

Do you think these women should be given harsher punishments for their crime because they are expecting?

Golden Retriever Adopts Tiger Cubs At Kansas Zoo

A dog at a southeast Kansas zoo has adopted three tiger cubs abandoned by their mother. Safari Zoological Park owner Tom Harvey said the tiger cubs were born Sunday, but the mother had problems with them.

A day later, the mother stopped caring for them. Harvey said the cubs were wandering around, trying to find their birth mother, who wouldn't pay attention to them. That's when the cubs were put in the care of a golden retriever, Harvey said.

Halle Berry: 'The paparazzi have gone too far'

Halle Berry said paparazzi went too far to get a shot of her infant daughter, alleging that the shooter trespassed on her private property and snapped them hanging out in the backyard.

The Oscar-winning actress was upset when pictures of her holding four-month-old Nahla Ariela Aubry showed up on the Internet and in two celebrity magazines. In a statement, Berry disputes the notion that the photos were taken when she was "out and about in Los Angeles."

Evan Spiegel, an attorney representing Berry, said a criminal complaint has been filed and an investigation is under way. He said there are witnesses who saw the photographers in the middle of a "very blatant and invasive trespass."

A person who answered the phone Friday at Fame Pictures, the agency that distributed the photos, said he had no immediate comment.

"The paparazzi have gone too far," Berry said in a statement to The Associated Press. She vowed to do everything possible to get the photographer prosecuted and protect her infant daughter.

Miley Cyrus Sought for Safe-Sex Ed

It may not be Disney's first choice of sponsor for their brightest—albeit increasingly antsy—teen star, but teaming Miley Cyrus with a condom manufacturer may not be as ridiculous a notion as it might have been, say, six months ago.

In a shameless publicity grab (and yes, we bit), LifeStyles Condoms has offered the 15-year-old Hannah Montana star $1 million to become the newest purveyor of prophylactics and to become the company spokesperson.

While Cyrus has vowed to save herself for marriage, the company says the young star should never say never.

Pointing to a certain fellow tween queen (cough, Jamie Lynn Spears, cough), LifeStyles claims that, should Cyrus choose to get into bed with them, so to speak, she may enjoy a less dysfunctional future.

"Pop culture proves that teens are more ready than ever to discuss the subject of sex," says the company's VP of marketing, Carol Carrozza. "We believe that Miley is both influential and relatable to this afflicted set—and is the obvious choice to get the message of safe sex out to teens across America."

Jolie doesn't plan to stop with six kids

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie might have just added two more kids to their growing family but a source close to the couple says that they have no plans to put the brakes on having biological children any time soon.

According to the source, Jolie plans on having “one more baby naturally—even if they end up having twins. (Twins) would be wonderful.”

Pitt has alluded to wanting to have enough kids to field a soccer team and according to the source, a brood of that size isn’t out of the question. “A dozen kids would be their dream,” says the source.

Hollywood-based clinical psychologist Dr. Michelle Golland, who doesn’t treat Jolie says that a family of this size is not normally what women desire. “There is not one mother that I know that would trade places with Angelina Jolie even if it meant they got to sleep with Brad Pitt,” Golland says.

Mark Wahlberg reveals due date

The Happening star Mark Wahlberg revealed to Us magazine that he and his fiance, model Rhea Durham, will be expecting their third child, a boy, “around the third of September.”

The couple are already parents to 4-year-old Ella and 2-year-old Michael.

Wahlberg, 37, has been open about not wanting to get married until the time is right. “We continue to grow in our relationship, and we have a much better chance of succeeding and staying together now,” he says. “I was not prepared to be married, no matter who it was when I was 20 or 30,” he said. “Committing to making it work and all the other things that go into building a solid foundation is where I’m at now.”

The busy actor says he likes to keep his family close when he is working. “My family travels with me when I work most of the time or I go back and forth on the weekends. I’ve been pretty consistent about just making phone calls in the morning and then chasing the kids around in the afternoon.”

Delaying motherhood linked with more c-sections

The increase in the rates of cesarean sections reported by many countries appears to be associated, in part, to more and more women deciding to have children later in life, according to a report in the current issue of PLoS Medicine.

In the study, laboratory testing showed that as maternal age increases, the ability of the smooth muscle of the uterus to contract slows down, which is thought to slow the progression of labor, thereby increasing the likelihood of c-section.
