Balanced information should be provided to pregnant patients who are considering cord blood banking, according to The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) in a revised Committee Opinion published today in the February issue of Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Fish, Pregnant Women, and Good Health

The Press Association (UK)- Pregnant women should eat at least two portions of oily fish per week to give children the best start in life, peers have said. Women should increase their intake of oily fish to help their unborn baby's brain develop, an all-party group recommended. At present, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) says expectant mothers should eat at least two servings of fish a week, including one of oily fish. The Associate Parliamentary Food and Health Forum said this should be increased.

Baby Boy Names - Need Help

I have a couple of girls names I like...we will be TTC in March. I need a boys name that goes well with ELIAS and ISAAC my two son's. I prefer vowel names and biblical meaning; however will accept any name with a strong meaning. I am so lost with boys names!

I have been overtaken by my first obsessive pregnancy craving: chocolate-covered strawberries. And I'm not talking about any old chocolate-covered strawberries, it's gotta be Godiva chocolate! Not an inexpensive habit at $5 a pop! I hate to admit it, but I've downed three a day the last few days and the craving shows no signs of abating. I could eat them all day. Unfortunately, there's a Godiva chocolatier conveniently located across the street from my office. In fact, if I crane my neck, I can see the store front from my desk…there it sits, tempting me all day. I may have to keep working until I deliver, just to support my habit! Are you ladies having any insatiable (and potentially budget-destroying) cravings?
