Exhausted Jolie struggles with twin demands

While Brad Pitt is out and about, hopping between film festivals to promote his latest flick, “Burn After Reading,” Angelina Jolie’s remained in near-seclusion at their French home since giving birth to twins in July.

According to recent reports, the actress is so exhausted she’s unable to play with her children, much less join her partner’s publicity blitz.

“(Angie’s) been staying in bed most of the time,” a friend told In Touch. “All she does is nap. She has little or no appetite and has to force herself to remember to eat because she is still breast-feeding.”

The friend explained that Angelina is showing signs of what may be postpartum depression, as she “cries at the drop of a hat and laughs at inappropriate times,” but another insider disagrees.

It’s simply a case of severe fatigue that has the “Wanted” star down, a close source revealed to Star magazine. Raising six children, breast-feeding two of them, and recovering from a c-section is enough to drain anyone, after all.

“Angie feels so weak and uncomfortable that she can’t even sit on the ground and play Barbies with Zahara and Shiloh,” the source said. “She wants to be able to run around and play with her older kids.”

oh god, yeah because she confides with a "friend" all her emotional issues so that they can be sold to some lame ass celebrity mag. I don't believe a word of that article.
Any mom that just had twins is going to be giving at least the first 3 months all to the babies regardless if it is one baby or two. There is no time in the day when you are constantly breastfeeding. i am sure the kids are making out just fine. I am sure of this article were true Brad would not be out and about. Balderdash I tell ya..

I think she is very tired. However depression is very serious. I think she should hire another nanny to help take any stress off of her. she should try and get a little R&R and enjoy her new little ones as much as possible. if she can take a short walk it might help bring her spirits up. Get her out of bed when she's awake and not napping. being in bed all the time will just lead her to depression.

I wouldn't be to quick to believe the severity b/c what friend would give this kind of very personal information to the press. I'm sure she is reclusive and tired just like any mom that has had twins. She may also be suffering from post partum depression and I'm sure she will get some help for that. Of course that wouldn't be much of a news story would it.

4 kids is a lot to handle but 6 kids, that's even worse. Maybe SOMEONE should've THOUGHT about that before deciding to get IVF in hopes of adding TWINS to the brood?? At least she has all the money to hire people to do her job for her while she's so busy napping.

You know I totally believe that she is weary from child rearing because it ain't easy. There are times when I feel like I'm going coo coo and I have only 2 kids. A toddler and a 4 month old. It ain't easy having 6 kids like her I bet. and true, without the daddy being there, things could get a lot worse

African women in the past had up to eight, and they came out strong both emotionally and physically. Every woman needs at least three months maternity leave, and that is what she is giving herself. Angie is a strong woman and will definitely pull through. Don't believe all the bad things said about celebrities. Angie has a good heart.

Maternal stress is also linked with imperfections in the developing nervous system which can lead to problems of perception, thinking, and memory. These mothers experience constant stress, shame, loneliness and, sometimes, clinical depression during pregnancy or after giving birth. http://www.xanax-effects.com/

Wow, why are people so harsh in judging celebrities? They're normal people just like us. I'm sure Angie is exhausted, and that she'll pull out of it. As for Brad getting stolen away from her, he adores her and their children. Come one people give her a break. She's probably one of the most loving people on this Earth. I have a friend who has 7 children, and being around her I know it's difficult, even when the father is there to help. So cut Angie some slack, and let them get on with their lives.

even though she is celeb she is human and she chooses her own life. Its only human that she is going to be tired. Maybe she is just stressed because she has to be at home.
