Can I Breastfeed If I Have Implants?

With all the media surrounding Britney Spears lately, she has been a topic of conversation with my co-workers and I. During our breaks, of course! One of my co-workers asked if she breast fed Sean Preston. I didn't know. But that brings up the question, can you breastfeed with implants? I know that their are some people who disagree that Britney Spears has breast implants, but that's beside the point. I am curious to know if a mother with breast implants could breastfeed her child. I hear "Yes," sometimes "No," and most of the time, "Depends on the implants." But which is it? If the implants do affect the breastfeeding process, could it have been a selfish thing for a mother to do? I know many mother's choose not do breastfeed because of many reasons, but could breast implants just be an egotistical reason for depriving their baby of their mother's milk? "If the baby can't be breastfed at least her boobs look good." I would really like to know with all sarcasm put aside. Are their any mothers, or anyone who knows someone, who has breastfed with implants? If it is proven that a mother cannot breast feed with implants, what are your thoughts? Do you agree with the cost of having great looking boobs, while your baby goes formula? Or were you trying on Nursing Bras at 8 months?
