I've been reading about how miffed Jennifer Garner is for the press leaking her pregnancy before she got a chance to tell her friends. If it were me, I'd be upset too! A joyous occasion like this one is something you want to share with your friends to see their reaction, hear them squeal outloud and give you big hugs. You don't want them reading about it in some magazine or a headline in a newspaper. What do you think?

What do you do when you are pregnant in one place and hubby/partner is in another place? Sometimes your significant other is on location for a job or perhaps fighting a war. I read today on a dad's forum about a soldier serving in Iraq and he was wondering what to do because his wife was pregnant. What can you do? Have the pregnant mom sign up for a blog! Invest in a digital camera. Write things down - even the mundane things. Take pictures. Keep mementos. It's like making a scrapbook for not only your baby but for the whole family. Use phone cards and call often. Send plenty of letters and emails. Have any ideas?
Things-to-Do to Pamper Yourself Take a nap Take a warm bath Get a manicure Get a pedicure Get a massage Get a facial Go shopping Put your feet up and read a good book or watch a good movie Go out to lunch or dinner with your partner or good friend Have a small get-together with a few good friends

Sometimes you need to consult a special pregnancy dictionary to figure out what your OB is talking about. Braxton Hicks is not a disease, a Rhogam is not a new vegetable. And quickening doesn't mean how fast you drive. Check out PregnancyWeekly's Glossary of OB terms to help you decipher exactly what your OB is talking about. And be sure to ask your OB questions if you get confused.
